I know it’s been a few days since I last posted - it’s been a busy week. But I’m heading up to Napa Valley tomorrow to have the delicious Ad Hoc fried chicken from their new to go outlet, Addendum. I’ve often tweeted photos of my day trips up to Napa, but now that I’m using Tumblr, I’ll be giving you a photo guide of my favorite spots to eat and visit in the Valley. I’m not exactly a local, but I do go up quite often. Keep your eye on our Tumblr page for updates.
Take a look at the 479 Popcorn booth in the background shots on Fox 5 Live. The best shots are at 2:08 and 3:46 of the first video.
We also tried these last week. I fun idea, and they were actually pretty tasty. I don’t know that they sell them locally here in the Bay Area, but you can order them online. Kinda like a cross between corn nuts and popcorn….
We saw and tried these at the Fancy Food Show. Very cute (like mini popcorn), but kinda hard to eat cause they’re so small. Check them out, though!
Today I had a customer call me and ask, what type of plastic are your jars made of? (I’m referring to the jars that are used for our Schoolyard Pop and the ones found in our PIY Kits).
It’s the first time I’ve ever been asked this question, so I asked the manufacturer and here’s what I found:
Our jars are made of PET, which are completely food safe (which we already knew) AND they don’t contain any BPA.
So here you go. If you have any questions, please ask away!
My dog when she’s sleeping. (thought some times she does twitch in her sleep)
Oh, it’s a trade show for the gourmet food industry. It happens twice a year. You can find out more info at www.fancyfoodshows.com
